The following are frontdoor sketches that convey ISMD's approach and range of styles:
Community sites work when visitors identify strongly both with the site and with each other. Members generate their own buzz in some areas, such as bulletin boards. Other sections need pull. Federatión, a sample "Feature Story" splash page, plays a teaser off a few click-to-view photos. View the site.
This is an information site meant to quickly convey credentials and approach. Sometimes less pull is more: the greeting "situates," establishing rapport with visitors who already know about "general product line." View the site.
zeroG is directed to middle and high school students. The site plays on the "My Space" sign on your kid's room's door: strong on options; "cryptic" navigation in animated Flash. View the site.
Multimedia "experience" sites have their niche on the web. Used sparingly, however, the same techniques can venture successfully into more traditional spheres. Macromedia Flash is the gold standard for web animation, far more versatile than older JavaScript. But one challenge is unchanged: to enliven without compromising usability. View the site.
